The kids had a horse show today. So we did that. Before the horse show, T. and R. took the book case that came out of his room and dropped it off at Household Goods.
R. made hamburgers for lunch. We had buns in the freezer. I had thawed a pound of beef earlier in the week, since A. does not like Costco patties and we thought we would try this instead. T. had chicken. I made cole slaw, too.
T. vacuumed his room. He says that the canister needs a new bag. R. is out on a walk so we’ll tell him about that when he gets back.
I asked A. to clean up the kitchen table from last night’s minor craft project: scissors, paper, tape. She basically did the tape version of a laminated card with a list, in order, of the 11 Loud Family children.
T. has a baseball celebration and then there is the town fair this evening. I have a plan for dinner tonight, which can be moved to tomorrow night if they eat hot dogs at the fair (they will, so I’ll have to come up with a plan B for me, which is probably going to either be tuna salad sandwich or chicken on a green salad).
I printed T.’s packing list for his week long sleepaway camp, and we ordered the things that we didn’t already have (mostly shoes. With T., it is always shoes).
