We went to Wupatki. Go to Wupatki! What a great park! We looked at Lomaki and at Citadel. That is the _best_ view ever. A. slipped on the flat part coming back from Citadel right before the parking lot. Better that than up higher! She got her gloves wet, so more shopping was in our future since she wound up borrowing mine.
We went to the visitors center and saw the main pueblo, the ball court and the blowhole. Very cool, as promised.
We drove to the intersection of 89 and 64 and had lunch at a Burger King.
We drove to Grand Canyon. We stopped at the Watchtower, which was open. A. balked after a couple floors, but the rest of us went up as high as we were allowed.
We checked in to Thunderbird Lodge and had dinner at the Arizona Room. The Pink Rattlesnake looked good and was, altho we were warned off it -- not sure why. I may try to recreate it. I had a deconstructed wedge salad. R. had some chicken tacos and a veggie enchilada. T. had grilled cheese. A. ordered and did not eat a cheeseburger. They both had vanilla ice cream for dessert.
A. finally had a bath. I forgot the wet brush, but the natural bristle one survived wet hair (didn't use it on conditioned hair in the bath -- that just struck me as unwise).
The wifi is abysmal and FarmVille inevitably wants to do an update. *sigh*
