The horse was canceled due to cold. R. took T. to see Murder on the Orient Express. They seemed to enjoy it. I would have taken T. except I hadn’t been home the previous day much and A. was wanting me to stick close.
Around 11 a.m., I asked A. if she wanted lunch at home or to go out. She always chooses to stay home. Except this time! She opted to go out. And while she would normally choose McDonald’s (that’s where she goes after the horse for lunch), today she chose Crossroads Cafe. So off we went for brunch. I had a mimosa. We both had burgers. We were both really full for many hours after.
Other than that, not a lot else happened. I read a little. I played a game for a while. I enjoyed looking at the holiday decorations around the house. R. went for a walk. T. and I learned that winter track is going to happen after all. I updated the calendar now that the 2018-9 school calendar is out (for A.). I packaged something up to be recycled in exchange for a gift card.
