R. took T. to track in the morning (I know, but martial arts was canceled so T. switched to Lexington in the morning). Then we met at Altitude with T.'s riding partner. The kids had fun jumping and we all went next door to 99's for lunch after.
After that, R. and T. and riding partner and his mother departed; A. and I went to Thoreau Club for a birthday party involving swimming (not a hot day, but apparently hot enough; I think the pool is heated), pizza, cake and nail polish. Lots of fun -- really good group of girls. I like the family whose daughter was having a birthday.
After that, home, for a bit. Then T. deployed a couple free scoops cards at Reasons for Happiness in Concord and we got ice cream (I had sorbet). Then we stopped at Staples to buy boxes for the book purge project and A. spent a surprising amount of money on random things found at Staples (markers, little bags that hook into 3 ring binders, stuff like that).
I didn't get to actually work on the book project any more; I'm hoping tomorrow I'll be able to do that. It was a very social day. I got one walk with M., but was too tired to motivate to do the long one by myself.
