Sunday's Activities Include: horse canceled due to weather thus saving me a difficult decision

On Sunday, which is the second Sunday after A. had her appendix out, therapeutic riding was canceled due to expected rain in Chelmsford. No rain ever really happened in our town. But this meant I did not have to decide whether to try to get A. to go horseback riding or wait another week.

When the discharge instructions for a surgery include: "Don't lift more than 20 pounds", an instruction clearly aimed at an adult, not a 7 year old girl, it can be difficult to know which activities to encourage/discourage.
