A. has discovered that the small TV in the bedroom in the cabin plays DVDs. R. got her the two DVDs lying around in the van (which has an entertainment system). But she wants more, so today we went to Wal-Mart and Shaws. The Wal-Mart wanted ID for us to buy 8 or 9 discs, which I guess is a Thing there. We also got her some Hershey bars, because 6 for $4.50 is better than $1.50 a pop at the camping store. It's weird buying DVDs; we've been streaming only, usually iTunes, sometimes Amazon for months if not more than a year at this point, and it's such a relief in terms of how much volume and weight we're packing around with us.
