I went for a walk before R. and A. left for A.'s horse riding lesson. T. and I followed that with a second trip around the block, he biked and I walked. We hung out for a bit, then went to Applebees for lunch, where I realized the churros had no milk products. On the one hand, it is over 600 calories, the vast majority in straight sugar. On the other hand, churros you get to dip in chocolate sauce (which I suspect was Hershey's syrup warmed up, but I could be wrong). As non-dairy dessert options at restaurant chains go, pretty good.
We got to the horse early, so I continued work on the new fiction project plot summary (first administrivia entry is up over at https://achlum.wordpress.com/2015/03/29/new-project-the-not-a-billionaire-novel/; I'll probably post the plot summary later today or maybe tomorrow, and then start in on background characters) until T.'s partners arrived and then we mums hung out and chatted. It was very pleasant and not very cold at all.
I have had a monster headache the last couple of days. I think it is partly time-of-the-month and partly screwed up caffeine (too much at the wrong time of day and too little at the usual times, started Friday night when I had some at the elementary school auction thing, continued with the tea/coffee error at Rainforest Cafe Saturday morning, and has probably been aggravated by some food choices along the way).
