VRBO confusion
Jan. 2nd, 2014 11:21 amI've had a lot of great luck with VRBO over the years. But I'm a little confused right at the moment. I'm trying to rent a house in Seattle for a trip later in the year, and when I sent out (via email to the owner) a rate request/availability request, I got back multiple screens worth of information back, including two separate totals for the 10 days I was asking about. One was 3K and change. The other was 9K and change.
I don't think I've _ever_ seen two figures this far apart in one email ever before, on VRBO or elsewhere. And it was so confusing that I was unable to figure out what the hell to do next, especially since this was all buried in screens and screens worth of information about Seattle that, honestly, I really already know. But boy, once I pulled the two relevant paragraphs out, I understood perfectly why I was confused. Waiting for another reply. The first one seems ridiculously low; the other seems insanely high. I'm not sure if I'm ever going to pull the trigger on this because it's so weird I'm not sure I can trust them. But I figure the next response should at least be entertaining.
