Wednesday: date night

walkitoutI had a delightful phone convo with J.
I had a nice walk with M. It was not actually freezing. Things are melting. Slowly.
R. and I went to Less Than Greater Than. On the way out, I detoured over to the ice cream counter, and bought two pints of plant based ice cream (chocolate, and mounds). I also got a cup of decaf coffee with oat milk and a peanut butter cookie (for R. ).
While we were eating dinner and drinking at the bar before that, we were chatting with one of the bartenders (the one who, yoinks ago, recommended books like Death & Co. to me). He’s an AFOL! He doesn’t do MOCs or alt-builds, but we had a ton of fun chatting lego nevertheless. He also has acquired a couple of Singlex cameras, and has been having fun with film. He is also a fan of Bob’s Burgers (animated TV show) which I had absolutely zero awareness of until tonight. Given that it has been on the air for over a decade, and even after reading the wikipedia page, I _still_ don’t think I had ever encountered anything about it before, that’s kind of amazing!
