It was kind of a busy day. The kids went to school, and A. did not have much homework. R. went cross country skiing with a friend who lives nearby but who he does not see very often. Always fantastic to hear about her son’s adventures. He has apparently joined the Marine Corps Band. Did not see that coming, but good for him!

T. had swimming, then R. and him went out to dinner and then into town to see a concert. The concert was War on Drugs (yes, confusing name, I get it). Also, R. was confused and had apparently only one General Admission ticket on the mezzanine. Ooops. However, they were selling more mezzanine General Admission at the door so that worked out fine, and the band is one that T. likes so that was great. Could have been a negative experience.

Earlier, R. went to the hardware store and bought a condensate pump, as ours had broken and we had a leak from it. He’d had to turn the humidifier off, which was a bummer, and reminded me forcibly of why we have a whole-house humidifier. The air gets really dry in the winter otherwise, because it is dry outside and then also the furnace is running a bunch. It was -3 or so when we got up in the morning.

I had wanted him to hang pictures after finishing swapping them into existing frames, however, he didn’t have time to do all of them. We did get some up on the walls, but the family wall in the dining room needs to be rearranged because we have a bunch of horizontal oriented stuff again this year.

Blog post by someone who also saw the War on Drugs show (and then talks about a bunch of other stuff that may or may not interest R. and/or you). https://www.lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com/2022/02/music-notes-113
