Wednesday: hair appointment, Forge & Vine

walkitoutI went to Moodz and got my hair trimmed (not as short this time — it’s cold) and colored. I’m really happy with this round of rainbow, which included Titanium, Magenta and Purple. The grey really helps the rest of the colors show up. Unexpected and nice!
We had date night, and went to Forge & Vine. I had to make the reservation a full week ahead, and it was pretty full, also there was takeout and a big tent in part of the parking lot. I had a glass of Enroute Pinot Noir; I like Russian River wines and this one did not disappoint at all. R. had a couple cocktails, and we had a Vale D. Maria tawny (I think?) for dessert. We had oysters, I had the salmon, R. had the steak frites. All really good; we’ll be back again soon. But probably next up is Gibbett Hill ; we haven’t been in a really really long time.
