I got home a little before 1. We had a great time, altho I really should have made a dinner reservation. If I ever go back to Mohegan Sun, I definitely will make at least one, possibly two reservations, and then pick the better looking one. People really dress up for this place. Tons of bathrooms, super clean, tons of stalls in the bathrooms, no lines anywhere for the ‘strooms. I could love that, except the drinks are weak and honestly, not good at all.
The arena, where we saw Tom Segura, was comfortable, clean, seats not too bad, not crazy crowded. E. had gotten seats that were at the very top back the wall, which I loved. I hate getting kneed in the neck or spilled on. Crowded tho, and not many masks. I wasn’t planning on wearing mine, but partway through, someone’s scent set off my allergies and I had no water so I put the mask on defensively against a coughing fit and it stopped it cold. Delightful! I’ll need to remember that.
Hard to express just how awesome it was to see E. We had dinner at Chick-Fil-A (aforementioned no reservations) and a drink at a bar after, so we did get to chat before and after the show. It was nice to hear about his wife; she sounds amazing.
Drove home was much quicker than down — from home to Worcester driving down was slow, leading to an over 2 hour drive, which I expected. The return was about an hour and a half.
I took T. to martial arts, and Vic’s.
