I tookT. to martial arts. The owner of the studio he goes to is now Kioshi. Congratulations to Kioshi D.! G. also advanced, however, I am terrible at remembering ranks; I saw him putting the new certificates up which is how I knew that is what they were up to in Billerica last Saturday that led to T.’s lesson being canceled before we had to cancel it due to the hypothetical but in the event not actual exposure.

T. assembled the Christmas Carol Dickens lego VIP premium. It is very cute. It has a drawer in it.

T. and I played Zingo. Not sure if we ever played that before; it has been on the shelf for years. He is going through games and playing things with me. This was initially at the behest of the sitter, who was concerned he was isolating himself too much in his room (seems like normal teenager stuff to me, but whatever), but it turns out he is having fun coming down and playing cards, games, etc. at intervals which is probably good for all of us.

A. watched Klaus on Netflix and said it was good.

We watched Godmothered on Disney+, which was pretty good, and a bit uneven on its handling of representation, but all things considered could have been a lot worse in that respect, and in terms of having plenty of women and girls in it was downright awesome.

I made chicken cacciatore (or some close relative of it) with some of the chicken wings and a lot of the vegetation in the fridge.

I took a short walk and had an indoor visit with M.

I did neither the long walk nor a treadmill walk, altho I did do extra stairs and the usual indoor running with A. I did a little filing. I unboxed an Amazon Flex and associated motion sensor and set it up in the bathroom and have been fiddling with it trying to understand what possible amusement could be extracted from it.

When I was looking around at the dining room and trying to put a few things away, I forgot I had put the 500 piece Mickey and Minnie puzzle on top of the Elf Clubhouse lego box on top of the popcorn maker. Ooops. So, we had to pick that up off the floor, find all the pieces that went flying, and then reassemble it. It did not totally shatter, but it took the better part of an hour to correct a moment’s energetic oversight.
