I had a phone call with K.
We did Fancy Friday.
A. and I watched season 2 ep 1 and the first few minutes of ep 2 together, and she watched the rest of ep 2 on her own. I asked her later what she thought of it, and she expressed that some of the Scary Bits were a little weird, but they did not seem to make her scared, so, yay!
I did the long walk by myself.
There was one final week on A.’s multi-week art project — one more week than I thought. So I baked a cake for her to decorate; she had drawn the stencil yesterday. R. made the buttercream, they colored it and she used the stencil after I cut it out. I took pictures, and she posted them. It turned out really nice; I am sort of feeling like we are building a skill set that would let us do the decorated cakes we eat, instead of buying them. Not a bad thing!
