I walked with M.

I did the 3 mile loop by myself.

I had a delightful long phone call with J.

I had a delightful long phone call with K.

Nice day! Pretty chill. Worked a bit on the Mos Eisley kit. I did a little cooking, a little cleaning, a little scheduling. Tomorrow will be much busier — kids pictures, a zoom IEP meeting, date night.

ETA:

A little update on the whole Toobin thing. The Hey It Could Happen To Anyone, Treat Toobin As You Would Want To Be Treated brigade is out. I am thinking about taking notes, because it seems to me that anyone who is earnestly saying, hey, that could happen to anyone is probably supplying all of us spectators with valuable information. If we were ever unlucky enough to have a zoom with any of them, we would For Sure want to be able to end their video on a split second’s notice! Or something!

Also, I have decided that there might be a different reason for Open Concept Offices than I had realized. And I have a brand new theory about what was going on in all those 70s and earlier era breakrooms which were infamous for having centerfolds and so forth on the walls. Eeeewwww.

Gizmodo, in the meantime, has provided some timely advice:

My dad had a Playboy subscription delivered to him at Boeing Computer Services and used to leave the magazines in the break room. It was apparently considered to be a thoughtful gesture (though perhaps not taken as such by the women programmers, of whom there were a few). But I never pictured those dudes going THAT far (possibly in a bathroom stall, but not in the break room itself).
