I had a family zoom. That was actually really fun this time. I will carefully not say anything else.
I made blondies.
I explored the possibility of getting some value out of stranded DVC points by depositing them into RCI.
In general, depositing DVC points into RCI is a terrible idea. OTOH, there is this ... thing going on. And it has basically made a hash out of all of the best laid plans involving mice and men. Since my sister canceled out of our beach vacay (which was a blast and I have zero regrets and will totally return to Hilton Head), I have som points that are not in a holding account but cannot be banked and I will not be using before they expire. So. Maybe I can put them in RCI and get something in Massachusetts? I have identified a possibility! But I think I need to call member services, because I can find no way to deposit online. Hmmm. I am Learning New Things!!!
It was pretty entertaining selling this idea to R. You can bring your larger monitor and work from there. Oh, working from there is not dependent on monitor? It is a motivational issue? Oh, really? Let me sell you on the hills of Berkshire. That turned out to be such an easy sell that I cannot believe I did not think of this sooner. Best of all, as near as I can tell, if we do not leave the state, we do not have to quarantine.
