I did some catch up blogging, and wrote a review of the book group selection. I am really looking forward to this evening’s convo, and also to picking out next year’s selections.
Yesterday, it occurred to me I should add French to my duo routine, since we are planning a trip to Quebec in the summer. I tried to test ahead, and got some ways, but mostly I am doing each section with the quiz key. It is still slow, but I got through section 1 (of 8) through level 2 (green) in one day so this will not go too slowly. It is a really effective form of review.
I had lunch with D from Julie’s Place. We went to Bickford’s and she is every bit as pleasant to spend time with as I thought she would be. On the way in, we saw Bud — good to see him out and about still. After lunch, we went for a brief walk in the arboretum. Very fun! Looking forward to seeing B. next time as well — D. says she will coordinate.
