Monday’s Activities Include: Book group! Sort of!

I walked with M. I did not have Dutch lesson. I walked A. home from school. A. (my friend) and I were the only ones at book group. Which was sad, because M. (not my walking partner) was the one to suggest reading _Hero of the Empire_. Perhaps we will spend part of next month chatting about it. In the meantime, A. and I discussed the Beryl Markham book, _Scalpel and the Silver Bear_ (we really both liked both of these books), and _Hero of the Empire_. We also went over proposed books for the remainder of the year. A. had 2 additions and didn’t like 2 of my choices, so that worked out well.

I am now officially quite angry about coverage of the Whole Boeing Thing and will probably at some point blog about it, because I feel that coverage of this thing has been uniformly ... lacking.
