walkitoutFalcon 9 launched! We watched it from a parking lot in walking distance of the hotel (a car wash? I think?). We couldn’t motivate to get the visitor complex to watch it there, and it launches from Air Force side anyway. Fantastic to see it even from where we were!
We went to the visitor complex and watched iMax, walked through the rocket garden and did Heroes and Legends. We had lunch at the Orbit (?) cafe. Lots of great conversation about what we were looking at, representation efforts and problems with those efforts, etc. I can’t really imagine doing this annually, but I could easily see trying to get back to tour and see updates every five or ten years.
ETA: Ate leftovers and a bit more from the thai / sushi place. T. had more pasta from my sister.
