walkitoutI had an abbreviated but wonderfully sane and refreshing phone convo with my friend K.
I had an unexpected and really wonderful phone convo with my cousin B.
A. and I picked up the cake from Concord Teacakes, and got her a cupcake at the same time.
The kids had early release. A. got out at her normal early release time. T. got out at 10:45. Early!
I got a walk and visit with M., after I took my MIL grocery shopping to make sure she had food to eat that wasn’t food intended for the Big Meal. We overbought. It was inevitable.
T. wanted a new sled. He walked down to the hardware store and I met him there with cash and he bought one. He broke it less than an hour later. He wanted to go to Lowe’s to look at blinds and things, so I made a reservation for all of us at the 110 Grill in Berlin, which is close to a Lowe’s. We had R. meet us there so that I could drive my daughter and MIL home after and they could go to the Lowe’s after. That worked out relatively well. I had to make one final run to a store: T. was out of Aquaphor, so I went to the CVS.
