Orlando Trip Report: Universal, Mythos

walkitoutFull day at the Universal Parks for A. and me. R. took T. to Volcano Bay, and then left to go for a bike ride. We all met up at Mythos for dinner after.
My MIL went into the parks with A. and I. We did Minions, Shrek, Race Through New York, Transformers failed to do Gringott’s because of a closure, the train to the other side, Forbidden Journey.
We had lunch at Mel’s Diner between Transformers rides. I ordered completely plain chicken and completely plain fries for A. And she loved them! Honestly, I found them way more edible, too. The problem is the seasoning salt. It is a lot more trouble to get them totally plain, but that would help R., too, because the seasoning has garlic and onion in it, among other things. I now know that I can keep A. happy anywhere that will grill her a completely plain chicken breast and provide some raw fruit and/or veg to go with it. Yay! That’s what we did for her dinner at Mythos that evening.
We did go back to the hotel between Forbidden Journey and Mythos. I told A. that it was that, or spend the full time in the park, because we wouldn’t have time to transit both ways and rest. Back at the hotel, she didn’t even have the energy to get up on the bed without help. She was super exhausted.
