It was a busy day.

Magic Hour at the beginning of the day, and FastPasses for Flight of Passage are still basically impossible. We did all manage to get on it at the beginning of the day. When you got there really matted in terms of how long a wait you had. But we got up at 6 to do it, which was hard, because I am feeling ill again. More Imodium. Yay. I mean, yay Imodium, but still.

We did Expedition Everest once, and then she single ridered it again. We were hot, and our feet hurt, and the Rivers ride had been down most if not all of the morning, so A. and I bailed out early and went back to the hotel. We washed her hair and dried it partly with a hair dryer, then let it air dry for a while. We had cereal and toast for lunch. The maintenance man showed up to work on the problem with the fridge (ice buildup preventing the freezer drawer from closing completely). I called Ivy Trellis and we went over an hour early. She got her hair done and then her nails. We were leaving as my nieces and sister arrived. A. and I went back to the room, got dressed for dinner, and started walking back to the monorail in time to get a phone call from my sister saying charging wasn’t working on her MagicBand. I went in and paid, which was great because I get the discount that way.

We all met up back at my sister’s room, and the babysitter arrived. I walked the babysitter through the line for Chef Mickey’s but they wouldn’t let me pay ahead. T., however, has been charging things to his band, so I made sure he was okay with doing that and that they would call me if there was a problem. Then I rejoined the rest of the adults and we had a lovely dinner at the California Grill. My sister and I got the vegan / vegetarian tasting plate again (choose four from a list). If I do that again, I really need to remember NOT to order the pasta. I don’t like it. The pho is fine, but I only ate a little. I like the roll, except for the truffle mayo. And I LOVE the fried rice. Bar made a great manhattan with luxardo cherries. I drank it really slow, because wow, that and Imodium on an empty stomach. Probably poor judgment on my part. The sourdough bread there is fantastic. The server gave R. an extra loaf to bring home with the leftover pasta.

Everyone except A. and I had lunch at Yak and Yeti. Garlic noodles were a huge win, and R. got the coconut shrimp, thus finally getting a meal there with no allium.
