Saturday's Activities / Trip Report: a drizzly day at Santa's Village

There were conflicting weather forecasts. In the event, it wasn't cold, but it did indeed drizzle. The penguin poo gee ride closed -- I don't think it likes getting wet. A. and I did the craft workstations to mix lotions and lip balms. We've never done that before and it was mildly fun. We also watched the Polar Theatre light show. It was also mildly fun. We bought season passes and almost forgot to pick them up. The kids did the Elfabet game. We got Santa photos of the kids, monorail photos of everyone. R. and T. went to Abenaki Trails for dinner. I thought it would be nice to try something other than Applebee's and 99's. A. wanted to stay in, so she had a peanut butter sandwich and I had a couple eggs (microwaved, since they didn't have a nonstick pan and I forgot to bring spread or oil), toast. I found the hot sauce _after_ I ate the eggs. *sigh* Oh well! I made a drink.

We got bitten a lot by mosquitos at Santa's Village.
