walkitoutWe got A. out of school a little early and went to the airport. We ate a place right next to our gate which I’d never heard of, U Food. It was good; I had chicken breast with a Thai chili sauce, broccoli and brown rice.
Our flight was uneventful. Our groceries from Garden Grocer had already been delivered to AKL before we even left for the airport, so that was easy to deal with. Rental car pickup from National was uneventful, altho I forgot to turn the display down at first and since it was after dark, all the light made it hard for me to read street signs until I realized I needed to do that.
Our room at AKL was fine. It was a long day, but successful.
