walkitoutBoth kids had full days of school. Yay! Mutual cancel on Dutch. My voice is still very sketchy. He is dealing with ice dams. Ice dams suck. I feel bad for him.
R. and I had date night. We went to British Beer Company. I wanted the haddock sandwich, but milk in the batter, so I wound up with the lettuce cups, which are always tasty. I did get a side of cole slaw, which was enormous. R. had pot roast, which I hate, so it is good that he can get it at a restaurant.
We stopped at the craft beer store and had an amusing time buying a bunch of beer. Then we tried one liquor store which was closed (Busa Wines), another liquor store which had Michter's Rye and Chocolate Bitters (across the road from Busa), and finally Colonial, where I got Antica, Luxardo cherries, Still More Beer, Heering cherry brandy and I'm not entirely sure what else.
Earlier in the day, I had leftover pizza and tofu, veg, rice and peanut sauce. It was all yummy. Then I had a lovely nap. I picked up T. at school and took him took a makeup swim lesson from last Wednesday. We also went to the Apple Store at Solomon Pond Mall, where he finally got his holiday present (he'd been collecting gift cards, and the last one finally arrived yesterday evening), and I bought some Air Pods.
ETA: Also, I finally gave in and figured out how to watch bloomberg tv on my tv using my iPad. Obviously, I can find the stream and airplay it, but I did have to poke around in settings to figure out where apple hid the never sleep option that used to be in general / auto lock. I don’t understand why google can figure this stuff out but apple settings search can’t.
