She is so worried about the privacy of her online searches, that after sharing them with the world in a Time magazine article, she decides to switch to using DuckDuckGo instead.
I have no particular issues with DuckDuckGo; I have used it a few times myself.
But when I worry about someone finding out about something I'm searching on, I don't blog about it. I'm going to assume that this makes sense to neurotypical people, and it is only my literal minded lack of a sense of humor that causes me to find the thinking behind this article hysterically funny.
