Pointless Complaining about Redbox

walkitoutI went over to my gmail account to get rid of the masses of email that build up. Mostly, this is email to other people who have my name and, for whatever reason, give a business my email address rather than their own. This time around, there were allstate, redbox and, get this, _an Apple ID_!!! I still don't understand how that happened.
Anyway. I'm waiting to hear back from allstate, but expect them to handle things reasonably. I was not particularly surprised that Redbox's chat customer service response to my complaint was, set your spam settings to ignore our email because we can't fix it.
Not surprised, but it's still pathetic.
