Transplanting a Seattleite

I feel like on the one hand, we're doing okay, since we haven't had to recover from a water spill (*shudder*). On the other hand, I don't even want to think about passing down something through generations. It is mildly cool to get old photographs, but I'll take a written down story over a photograph, hands down, every day, and twice on Sundays and holidays. This blog is going to have to count towards karma points to future generations (who will be bored to tears by most of it and mad about the lack of detail in the rest, if my feelings about the past are anything to judge by).
