Apparently Tara Parker-Pope over at the Well blog at the NYT wasn't aware of the term "chicken cutlet" for silicone bra-stuffer.

I'm _not_ going to post a thing about Prejean, the pageant officials paying for her breast implants between when she won her state and when she won Miss USA, her comments about gay marriage or the topless fotos. Everyone else has said plenty; I just think the whole thing is one, giant cliche in action.

My first reaction was that chicken cutlets sound unlikely to me even as a meat product. I have seen turkey cutlets, but they always sounded like a fake-up to me, a substitute for veal or lamb or whatever.

According to the dictionary, a cutlet can be a kind of croquette made from ground meat as well. I suppose that's even more like a bra-stuffer.

Anyway, surely it shouldn't be a cutlet if it's adding something, it should be a pastelet! :-)
