If I go back to Steakhouse 71, I’m gonna ask for NY Amy, because she was fantastic in every way. There’s apparently a Boston Amy, who is quiet, and I’m sure lovely, but we loooooved NY Amy. I got the vegan wellington again and it continues to be tasty. R. got the vegan dessert and I had a couple bites of it. My sister shared the onions rings, which as always are awesome. I went light because we massively overate at Tiffins.

I’ve been reading the Tiffins menu every trip since they opened and the guy we liked at Mizner’s said he was switching to there, so basically a decade. The menu has never been great for dairy allergies, and of course it was always going to be tricky when the kids were little. But wow was it fantastic today. We ordered everything: the bread service (one dairy-free selection and they separated it and included a fancy dairy free spread for me which was amazing), the charcuterie (they separated the cheese and dairy parts from the meats and dairy-free parts) was incredible — the wagyu beef especially, but really all of it. The Land salad was yummy. The Bao Buns were also fantastic. The only app we didn’t order was the cauliflower, and honestly, if I hadn’t wanted so many other things, I would have.

For entrees, C. got the butter chicken which came with a yummy samosa. K. got the steak, but didn’t eat the saltado potatoes because we’d all had way too much food by this point. I got the tasting curries, with steak for the protein, and gave part of the steak to A. and part of the rice to K. C. had some of the green curry. I loved both the green curry and the peanut curry. Steak was good. A. got the steak off the kids menu with fruit (watermelon) and rice, so that worked out great.

For desserts, once again, ordered everything: the chocolate pot de creme (C. and R.), the caramel flan (K. and R.) and the sorbet trio (C. K. and me). There was apricot sorbet!!! And yuzu, but that’s basically raspberry. I think the third was strawberry? They were great, and the amount was reasonable. I hate when they give you huge amounts; it’s just too much sugar.

We had Lightning Lanes for Zootopia (formerly Bug’s Life) and walked in and the door’s closed. We Lyfted over, because R. was sleeping (he rode three days), followed by Flight of Passage (single LL) and Navi River Journey (LL). We got a snack and did some shopping (I bought a couple beads and we ooo’ed at some bags and shirts). I had bought a zootopia t-shirt earlier, because it was purple, and while crew neck it was a really loose round neck so maybe workable as a sleep shirt. I set up a safari LL but we never used it. After Tiffins, we rode Expedition Everest (LL) and then A. single rode it twice. After that, we called it quits and went back to the hotel.

I packed up a bunch. A. now has a cold, which is unfortunate, but just kinda life. I did the online checkin for Helios.
