Knee popped some new symptoms

Post-walk yesterday, I noticed that it was uncomfortable sitting in chairs but it was okay lying down or even putting my legs up. I eventually realized that I had some swelling back of my knee, and pressure on that was the problem. It got better overnight, altho it’s still there, and the area feels warn and is visibly inflamed. I’m going to rest it and see how the day goes. A full mile including hills was maybe not the best next step in rehabbing this thing.
I read an article at vox the other day about glp-1s and unspecified Concerns.

Glp-1s do kill some people, often via acute pancreatitis, altho the people who the drugs were intended for initially also die of acute pancreatitis at an elevated rate. I look forward to scientific developments in this area, because I believe what we learn over time could benefit people using or not using these medications.
I also did some poking around at all-causes mortality of bariatric surgery vs. glp-1s, because it’s really clear the bariatric surgeons are panicking. Some issue — the underlying original issues are quite deadly, the surgery has its own problems, etc. Glp-1s seem to kill in part by people being unable to stay on them for a variety of reasons (cost, side effects).
I also got to wondering what else might be susceptible to the influence of glp-1s. Like, if participation in some religious organizations shares characteristics with addictive behaviors (not all religions, not all people in even the religions that do tend this way), might glp-1s cause people to reduce or end their participation in some religious movements? I have utterly failed to generate a search that can find evidence that anyone else is publishing in this area. I’m sure people are having the same thoughts, tho. I never have a new thought.
