Sunday: walk, dinner with niece

walkitoutPortal playdate canceled for A., due to exhaustion on B.’s part. No zoom with I., because she is visiting her uncle. This all worked out actually, because we had niece/cousin A. over at 4 pm to hang out and have dinner, which would have otherwise been a conflict. Lots of fun! She brought back all the wedding stuff.
I had intended to go back to Post Road Carpet, but didn’t, even tho they have the Duro Design cork samples I want to get my hands on. I assembled an email response to the list of lighting related action items I had and got those all taken care of, which felt really good. Then I got some more details into the room finishes changes sheet, which also felt good. I also sent another email about flooring choices in the basement bathrooms, because I realized that flooring selection there would impact things like the toilet flanges and the central drain in the pool bathroom. I found some pretty good tile for the pool bathroom, and A. and I had already picked out a Forbo color for her bathroom floor.
ETA: I apparently abandoned this post mid-thought without posting it until the following morning so I may return to it later when I have time and finish it.
