I had lunch with MB at salt and light in Groton. Delightful!

I walked with M.

I did the one mile loop 2x by myself while chatting with my sister.

I took a couple naps.

A. went to school, altho she went in a bit late. But she did make it through the day, so that’s something.

Landon Reid on TikTok did a really nice package opening tiktok involving a Barbie from some years ago that is Lucille Ball. He told a story about not getting to play with Barbies as a young boy, and how sad that made him. He added that his dad bought his mother “collectible” Barbies, including this style, that his mother never took out of the box because they were “collectible”. His parents ultimately divorced and his dad took all the Barbies as part of the divorce. My comment to A.: see, I think Landon’s dad is exactly like Landon, but _unlike_ Landon, Landon’s date is very not okay with being who he is, and so hates on himself and everyone else including Landon. I thought this was pretty obvious, but it wasn’t part of what Landon had to say.

In any event, it was a wonderful message about finding ways to heal one’s inner child. And also, Barbie that looks like Lucille Ball! How cool is that!

And here is why I am posting about this. Landon was wearing a t-shirt with Grover saying, You Turned the Page! A. didn’t remember “The Monster at the End of the Book”, so I re-downloaded the iOS app of the book, which I definitely did with her when she was younger, and we went through it together laughing a great deal. Tons of fun! Grover, don’t feel embarrassed! You didn’t know how it was going to turn out!
