Friday was a little calmer

We were planning on going out to the construction site, and I was expecting a little more work done here at home, but in the event, nothing happened. I got some extra sleep, and feel somewhat better. We went to lunch at Tavern on the Square in Littleton, and ate leftovers from that for dinner. It’s AY’s birthday, so R. made creme brulee for her, which was very nice.

I dis-assembled the red pickup truck lego. I can’t find the box, so I used one of the white boxes that provides internal structure in the big kits. My daughter, my houseguest and I had some nice conversation, too. It was a really good day. M. visited, but we didn’t walk because it was 90 degrees and my knee is still wonky. But I did go up a couple flights of stairs without any twinges until the end. So that’s an indication that rest does help.

I picked up AY from the hotel in the morning; she’ll be spending the remainder of her visit here at the house, since construction does not start up again until Monday morning. Sunday night will be a bit of a puzzle, but I’m confident we’ll figure it out.

I skipped my phone call with K. (and I’m looking forward to hearing what she and K. think of Superman). I did FF tho, because AY went to bed early.

Oh, and T. and AY had a nice phone convo today.
