Lots of driving on Tuesday
Apr. 15th, 2025 11:00 pmIt was warm today. I drove out to Florence and we looked at samples of finishes for the main stair.
Walkaround was nice — I went up the ladder to the upper section of the turret. Super cool! I also got to look at the porches, which are looking really nice.
We were supposed to go out to dinner with the B’s, but they asked if they could come over instead of meeting at Forge and Vine, which, sure. I thawed some steaks out and stopped at the store on the way home from Florence. I made an apple crisp, roasted potatoes and bell pepper, sauteed mushrooms to go with the steak. We had tortilla chips, guac and salsa, and also some crudites for appetizer. I picked up a six pack of lime flavored pelligrino, and I made cocktails for M. and I, R. and M. had beers. Very, very pleasant! They wanted to measure some of our kitchen to confirm that they would be happy with their kitchen plans. Yay!
