Busy Tuesday
Jan. 28th, 2025 11:15 pmAs A. was headed out the door, someone dropped by to pick up the Apple Thunderbolt Display. I hope it works out for him!
Soon after, I headed to the house site. Today, I am learning about finials. We had a conversation about it with the roofer today, and I’m trying to figure out the various options for ordering. I think I need to call them and talk to them about lead time, since this is one of the bigger and more decorative items they offer, and I will also need to discuss the mounting rod and how it connects to the lightning system and probably also figure out how to communicate the shape of the cap. Fun stuff!
I brought blondies with me, but both the project managers are on diets right now, so only N. and E. took me up on the offer. I brought celery, carrots, chickpea stuff, a second sourdough muffin, the aforementioned blondies and some dates. It actually worked out pretty well as a lunch. For dinner, I fed A. chicken thigh, one of the last of the apples, carrot and tots. I finished off the last of the steak tips, wings, and mushrooms, along with some jarred TJ red sauce, gnocchi from Walden, and most of the rest of the kale.
A. and I watched an episode of the Bad Batch, and some TikTok.
I had a delightful phone conversation with A.
Unfortunately, Priestess’ sister passed. She is very sad, and I am sad on her behalf as well.
