No MEPFP meeting today, probably because tomorrow there is a meeting specifically about PV, batteries, backup power.

I drove A. to school.

I picked up A. after school.

I made waffles, because I fed A. the last one today.

I walked with M. I walked with R.

I had a long conversation with J.

I had a conversation with A.

I had a conversation with K.

All of them were delightful!

Also, I am now tired. No school tomorrow, but there is that PV etc. meeting, and also therapy. I am hoping it is otherwise a quiet and relaxing day.

Oh, and in good news, my niece and nephew got all 8 weeks of the summer program offered by their before and after school care, which is fantastic! It’s so reassuring to have that taken care of ahead of time so we don’t have to worry about it any more.

In further good news, Fusion is really delivering on the detailed daily charting. A. had self-reported no meltdowns (!!!) today. She played uno, and also a little (small) basketball (indoors in the homework cafe) during lunch, and had a conversation with another student. So she’s having some social interactions, which is great. The charting indicates that she is engaged and doing her independent work well. Now that she is able to speak up a bit more in Spanish, they are moving through the material much more rapidly. She was a little panicky before getting out the door this morning, but we talked it through and I relentlessly made stupid jokes so she could laugh nervously, then comfortably, and then eyeroll at me. On the way in, I did some narration and showed her the rumble strips and talked about the rotary. Little by little, we are advancing along the way to many different goals.

Also, I texted a bit with I., S.’s mom, and she mentioned TECCA / Connections Academy. I had not realized that Massachusetts has an free-to-students virtual school (for all I know there’s more than one) that supports IEPs even. I knew WA had one, but I had not known there was one here.

Actually, apparently there are two: https://www.doe.mass.edu/cmvs/
