MEPFP meeting was fairly lowkey vs. yesterday.
I got my hair done. That was very pleasant! I returned the products that are lightly scented because even lightly scented is a problem. C. was unfamiliar with the DHS color safe shampoo but it seemed to be fine.
I walked with M.
R. and I went to Azucar in Maynard for Tapas. Yummy, as always!
I had a delightful long phone call with A. She had some really good observations about how exhausting it is to really dive into material and learn it. They are extremely valid! She also noted that when the kids are this age and you are really wondering how it will go, that’s tiring, too. I think that is less a factor for me currently, because things are going so well with T., however, I’m still trying to figure out how to best support A., so perhaps I’m just in denial about this.
The comment about cognitive exhaustion when learning a lot of new stuff all at once is Real, tho. Construction World is a Lot. Ha ha, little real estate joke there for you.
