Monday: the culture continues to evolve
Mar. 25th, 2024 08:55 amDo what I say, not what I do — don’t read the WSJ.

There are versions of this article at intervals — I switched jobs when I didn’t have to and I make less money but I’m so much less stressed / more happy / get to do other important things in my life now. A lot of times, these articles are pretty irritating (usually because of gender crap). However, this time, I was less irritated. Both men and women were included, and one of the things a man listed as a benefit was the health benefit of no longer splashing out on a daily energy drink (is this the save money by not having an espresso trend of our near future? I live in fear!) and another was getting to see his prek kid in some school thing. A woman lost her lower paying job BUT it let her pivot to a successful-for-now entrepreneurial project.
I’m still not a fan of these articles, but it was interesting to see the 2024 WSJ take on it.
