Friday: more neurological symptoms
Mar. 8th, 2024 11:00 pmA. has been having some weird neurological symptoms this week that resolved in one case by drinking more water. It’s kinda twitchy hand stuff — I haven’t seen it.
But when she came home today, she opened the fridge and just stood there. After a couple minutes, I moved her out of the way and had her sit down and I got her the chocolate milk she wanted. Then I told her (more than once) that she should go lie down in bed and could take her phone with her into bed if she wanted. Probably should have had her NOT bring the phone, but I did not want a fight. She was a little better later, altho she stayed up late to participate in FF.
Priestess is having some issues with a job interview. It sounds super frustrating; I hope the process gets better. The job in question sounds kinda perfect — she used to temp there.
I finished reading Andy Greenberg’s _Tracers in the Dark_, which is mostly about bitcoin and using the blockchain to track down crime / criminals. I’ve already read at least once excerpt from it, and obviously I’ve seen the reporting over the years that covered many of the events that Greenberg covers. But there are also stories and people I was not familiar with, and he does a great job of laying it out chronologically and showing the through-lines of some of the participants.
