It deposited a very small amount of snow which did not stick to the roads appreciably. While it is cold (mid to high 20s so far today) the roads still aren’t awful, even tho it is continuing to snow.

We’ll see how this turns out when the kids return home.

ETA: Of course as soon as I posted that, I got a robocall notification no x-day, no late bus, no activities.

But will they be sending them home early, is my question.

This was _so_ _close_. Again, this is the largest size in one of their bras which runs larger. There’s a weird gapping going on underarm, which is annoying. The band is a smidge too tight, but again, probably bearable and this is NOT a pullover. I had it on the loosest of four settings. Unfortunately, once again, the over the shoulder straps are adjustable, but not enough. Furthermore, on their longest settings, there’s a weird lumping effect which is irritating, and also there’s a circular bit that is scratchy. But the killer is the fact that, even with adjustable straps, _they are not long enough_. Would it kill them to put an extra inch on those adjustable straps? Are there people who are at the shortest adjustment that an extra inch would mess with?

OK, maybe not _the_ most unexpected place, but close.

Will come back later to expand upon this.

ETA:

OK, so, in a really brief video, he talks about the Lanham Act, the doctrine of first sale, and the real world risks of Nike pursuing a trademark action against a group of women that includes Taylor Swift, Brittany Mahomes and Kristin Juszczyk and how that might play out for Nike, NFL, etc.

I like this Tiktoker, but I watch him for the parent of small children humor and dad jokes and general prank type stuff. This is an _amazing_ thing to have pop up. I knew he (and his wife?) are lawyers, but wow. Way above average commentary.

As has been the case with the Kokoon in the past, the material to help you figure out how to use it is confusing. And for whatever reason, it won’t pair until it is charged and NOT plugged into the charger.

It ships with the “1” size ear thingie set up, but they give 5. I felt like the volume was really low even with the volume up on the phone (the buttons on the device interact with the phone volume, so that is not a separate option), so I went to the “3” and then the “4”. At that point, they were not falling out of my ear at all (note to self: you should size up in other ear bud type things, because you’ve been wearing the too-small-for-you option). They still felt really quiet, but also, I was getting _really_ good isolation at this point so quiet and isolated is _fine_.

The case is tiny. The device itself is super small. Once you get the hang of it it is pretty simple to use. It feels really stable, altho I haven’t tried to lay down with it.

FWIW, this is a side-sleeper oriented device to help isolate sound and supply sound that might help you sleep. I’ve never used the Kokoon app (this is by no means my first kokoon). This is _so_ _much_ _smaller_ than the original Relax. The Relax was workable and I took it on transatlantic flights because it made a huge difference in my ability to sleep on the plane, but it took up so much space. Since I’ve gone carry-on only all the time, I’ve become absolutely obsessed with shrinking every single thing in my luggage. This is feeling like a winner. Also, the Relax was infamous for hinges breaking. I didn’t have a problem, but A. did, and my friend D. had three break before she gave up on them. I bought an early version of the Nightpods for a friend, but had not tried them for myself.
