In Which We Fly to Seattle
Jun. 24th, 2023 11:00 pmWe have not been to Seattle since 2017. As with that trip, we took Alaska. Since we were flying out of Terminal B, I got a parking reservation at Terminal B parking. We’ve never done a parking reservation before OR parked in that garage. They check your trunk on the way in, and honestly, feels justified. We initially went to the wrong garage, but we had plenty of time.
We got breakfast at legal seafoods. We also had meals on the flight. We ate at Ha! in Fremont, walkable from Staybridge Suites, where we were staying.
Ha! is pretty fun. I had the veggie burrito, not wet, and it was tasty. I had a manhattan, which was okay — I’ll try a beer if we return. There is a Rainier Beer font R on the wall, and a Simpson’s style 10 year anniversary picture on the wall. It’s bigger than it looks on the outside. We stopped at the Book Larder, a cookbook store, after and I bought a cookbook.
Then we walked down to the Lazy Cow bakery and got a loaf of sourdough, and ice cream for A. at the Fainting Goat gelato place. We walked by past the troll, which had a lot of tourists getting pictures at it. We returned to the hotel via the Troll Forest.
