I walked with M.

I did another 1 mile by myself while chatting with my sister.

We had family zoom.

A. had a somewhat later than usual portal playdate.

We watched a bit more of The Bad Batch.

I decluttered the magnet board in the kitchen.

T. drove some things over to Savers. He also did baseball [ETA: not baseball, my bad, it was the other track] and went to a fair over in Westford with some friends.

I made cookies with the cocoa nibs! They turned out really really intensely flavored and super tasty. I still don’t know where the banana flavor is coming from. But yummy! I think I had five today. I started with the nibs, added brown sugar, vanilla and then an egg, and some cinnamon maple sugar, some baking potassium and enough (ground soft red) flour to get it to turn into a big dough ball. I -love- the new scoop I bought. The cookies spread out and have great texture. Oh, there was a tablespoon of avocado oil in with the nibs, because I wasn’t sure how they would processor — I don’t think the oil was needed. I actually think you could probably do this one without the egg and it would be vegan.

I took a seam ripper to one of the side seams on the tank top, so I could flatten it out into a rectangle-ish with some arm holes in it. It works as a short scarf, or as something to tie my hair back (either around a pony tail, or as a headband). R. has offered to clean up one of the seams (one is a selvedge edge so it doesn’t matter), but I think I will not bother to do anything to the shape, because it’s kind of fun to think about taking it off, show what I did, put it back on, and have it not be possible to tell. Very TikTok styling fun.
