Saturday: closet decluttering
May. 13th, 2023 11:00 pmI did not walk. I did a bunch more of the move accounts from one email address to a different email address project. I also watched a bunch of episodes of The Bad Batch with A.
After she went to bed, I decided that while nothing about what was going on in my closet was important, I really wanted my closet to be less of a disaster and _that_ _was_ important. So I started going through and making all the stupid decisions that were low priority, but which collectively became a high priority of I Don’t Want That Shit In My Way. Lots of stuff just went to recycling and trash. Lots need to go out to Savers as donations. Some things went into cold storage in the basement (but not very much — photo related stuff, mostly).
I have a really pretty silk tank top that I bought back in the early aughts in Hawaii. I never wore it much, and then I outgrew it, and then A. had it briefly, but then returned it to me because she never wore it. I realized it had a hole in it, and started thinking of it as fabric. I will pursue this in more detail tomorrow.
Closet could use a ton more work, but it is _so_ much better already.
