I watched last night TRMS, since I was up late. Last night’s book group was a fun discussion of _Eighty Days_, which I got about halfway through. We’ll be reading _All the Beauty in the World_ for May. Then I chatted with A., and finally with Priestess.
I finally made chickpea cookies. I picked a chocolate chip recipe. They are good, altho I made some changes.

I swapped the quarter cup of maple syrup characteristic of this type of recipe for an egg and a quarter cup of brown sugar. I left out the salt, and I started with peanuts. I used cooked from dried chickpeas, instead of canned. I cooked them a little longer. They really don’t spread out. I really want to do a savory spiced version. R. suggests adding orange extract. I’m thinking maybe some china china? And cumin or cinnamon or cardamom or something along those lines.
I finished reading _Stark’s War_, which went really fast. It’s one of the earliest Hemry/Campbell milsf series, and at the climax, there’s a horrible going over the top equivalent, and those always make me incredibly sad. I think there
