Monday: shoveling the white stuff, vomit update

It turns out that zippers and vomit are a terrible combination. It gets wedged into the spots be tween the tines (?) of the zipper and also soaks the fabric and on a leather jacket, it is not at all obvious how to deal with this. A bunch of damp cloths, and a series of brushes later, I am giving up. The jacket and shoes have gone to a dry cleaner to see if the professionals have better equipment and/or ideas than I do.

Also, it is snowing. It is super gross, damp, huge flake snow. I have removed it from the driveway, front walk, and part of the sidewalk (mostly near the mailbox, because I’d like to keep receiving mail). I am now tired, and also, I don’t feel like I need to get any more exercise today, so there’s that.

Duolingo was down earlier today.

I tried to experiment with ChatGPT, but it was at capacity.

I started the Lego Ideas Aquarium and got through “bag” 1. It’s cute.

I made blondies.

I told my walking partner not to come over, because it is treacherous footing out there and I don’t want a homeowners claim (I had not cleared anything yet, but honestly, stay indoors if you’re in my zipcode or anywhere close to it). There _was_ a full day of school, altho T. was sent home slightly early so he could get his car out before the rush. It still smells of cleaner. T. drove it into the garage still heavily laden with snow, so when I saw that I had him back it out and we cleared it, then we opened the windows. That was all before I cleared the driveway.

I rescheduled book group to the next week, because I’ve had a 3 day headache, and one other member requested a delay, and that felt like a good enough reason to delay.
