Wednesday: goose, phone call, no walk
Dec. 7th, 2022 08:56 pmI had a visit, but no walk with M., because it was raining.
I had a nice long phone call with J.
I did some holiday shopping / gift carding / sending of cash today.
R. cooked the goose today. A goose is very fatty and the fat is very much like oil. I look forward to experimenting with this new (to me) fat.
Siena delivery was today! It included potatoes, turnips, apples, kale, carrots and many other good things including blueberry jam and a loaf of Izzy’s bread. A. and R. finished off the last of the experimental loaf today, so perfect timing. I cooked the kale and the mushrooms. There are many good things to eat in the house.
Also, T. took A. to a mall to do a Santa photo (he’d gone by himself on Monday, because he was bored for his half day). Santa apparently was really impressed by how nice they were, so he asked to FaceTime mom (me). So I got a Facetime from Santa! And Santa’s helper. They were super nice. Pictures were also nice.
