Day of Walks

I walked with M., who I haven’t walked with in months. Our last walk, in the spring, was distressing. She was super worried about right wingers in her neighborhood, and I thought we were talking about politics because she was emphatic she wasn’t worried about her personal safety, or the safety of her family, but we probably were not talking about politics, because when I engaged with it on the How the Election Will Go level, it turned ugly fast. *shrug* Apparently, during the months when we weren’t walking, she dumped all of her friends, and her son has been on her case to give people another chance. The walk was nice. That’s kind of a lot of chaos there, tho. We did 2 one mile loops.
I also did the long walk by myself, so it was a lot of walking, which is good, because I’m going to be sitting in a car for several hours tomorrow.
