Wednesday: decluttering, cooking
Aug. 17th, 2022 11:49 pmNo call with J., as he had other plans with his family.
No zoom with I., as she had other plans with a friend.
I did have a delightful call with R., who had missed an appointment but got a replacement.
A. did a ton of decluttering again today. It was a lot of small stuff, but jewelry and hair and so forth went through a big transition. Her dresser is much more clear now, and she has ready access to things that she likes and that fit her, and that are age appropriate.
I made a tomato, bean and corn stew.
I also took some chicken thigh bones and added them to the mushroom stock, added some water and ginger and then cooked it for a while. It turned out really nice, and I’m thinking that will go into some rice tomorrow with the lion’s mane mushrooms as risotto.
I had some ribs, kale and sweet potato fries for lunch and a pasta dish for dinner. The corn cobs are now all either eaten, or, in the case of the stew, cooked.
