Since the half recipe of carrot cake was gone already, I made a full recipe today. It turned out nice, but apparently R. likes it better with the outrageous amount of ginger, as opposed to the merely generous amount of ginger. Who knew.
I also made meat loaf, since we got some ground pork from Walden (and, obviously, ground beef as well). I food processed some radish, a large carrot, bell pepper. R. picked ras al hanout for the spices and wow was that a good choice. I used oats and the predictable 2 eggs.
From 6 until a little after 9 pm, I went to Acton Rec for the CPR class. There were six of us; it was a really nice group of people. There were some technical difficulties with the power point, but that was fine. The instructor did a really nice job, and we got really great masks (for rescue breathing, in the unlikely event we ever do that). I’ve never gotten to practice with trainer epipens or an AED — that was actually really cool.
